Bikers For Cause Foundation VA1 Takes on DGR 2026

Rolling Out For A Cause
On Sunday, May 17th, three members of the Bikers For Cause Foundation VA1 Chapter rolled out alongside nearly 180 riders in Leesburg for the 2026 Distinguished Gentleman's Ride in support of men’s health and prostate cancer awareness.
Representing the chapter were:
Chapter President “Fender”
Vice President “Hugh”
Communications Director “Tripwire”
For both Fender and Hugh, this marked their very first Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride. For Tripwire, it was his second year riding dapper for the cause.
The morning started at Motorcycles of Dulles under cool skies and scattered cloud cover — perfect riding weather with just enough grit in the air to remind you this was still a motorcycle ride.
Nearly 180 Riders. One Mission.
As riders gathered for staging, the parking lot quickly transformed into a rolling showcase of classic motorcycles, custom touring bikes, polished chrome, vintage style, and loud pipes with even bigger hearts.
From Harley baggers to café racers and modern classics, riders from across the region came together behind one shared purpose:raising awareness and support for men’s health.
The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride has become a global movement that uses motorcycle culture to spark conversations around prostate cancer research and men’s mental health — proving that motorcycles can be more than machines. They can become tools for community and impact.
Fender Brings Home “Best Dressed”
While the motorcycles turned heads all morning, Chapter President Fender made sure the VA1 crew stood out from the crowd.
Rocking a sharp tuxedo complete with classic tails paired perfectly with black-and-white Chuck Taylors, Fender delivered pure Distinguished Gentleman style while piloting his striking red Harley-Davidson through Loudoun County.
The combination of class, personality, and biker swagger earned Fender the official Best Dressed honors for the ride.
That’s what makes DGR special:style without ego, camaraderie without competition, and riders coming together for something bigger than themselves.
Through Leesburg Under Escort
Not long after kickstands went up, riders encountered a light drizzle rolling through Loudoun County. But like most things in the motorcycle community, nobody backed down.
By the first stop at Ida Lee Park, the rain had cleared and the ride continued under police escort through historic downtown Leesburg.
Engines echoed through brick-lined streets as spectators lined sidewalks snapping photos and waving riders through town. The ride then carved through the scenic roads of Middleburg before eventually arriving at Lost Barrel Brewing for the final stop of the day.
More Than Just A Ride
For the VA1 crew, the day was never just about looking sharp or logging miles.
It was about showing up.
Showing up for men’s health awareness.Showing up for the riding community.Showing up beside hundreds of fellow riders united behind a meaningful cause.
At Bikers For Cause Foundation, we believe motorcycles are capable of creating real impact when good people rally behind a mission. Events like the Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride remind us that strength is not measured in horsepower alone — it’s measured by the willingness to ride for something bigger than yourself.
Thank You To Every Rider
To every rider who participated, donated, organized, escorted, photographed, or supported the mission:we salute you.
Good people riding for great causes.
